Shannon Hardy has never missed out on a school spirit day. More importantly, she has never taken the easy route by dressing in a mediocre outfit. This being her senior year, Hardy was determined to create the most extravagant costumes and become the epitome of what a Leesville Loonie really is. We’ve traced Hardy’s outfits throughout the week to show everyone why Hardy is one of the most spirited Leesville students of all time. “You gotta go big or go home,” said Hardy.
Monday- Hopes and Dreams Day; Hardy dreams of becoming a professional roller-skater. While sporting her blades she is also wearing a breast cancer awareness bandanna. “My goal is the skate away breast cancer,” said Hardy.
Tuesday- Disney Tourist Day; As an avid Disney lover, Hardy pulled out all her paraphernalia from her trips to Disney World, including her Disney character autograph book.
Wednesday- Disney Character Day; Hardy decided to dress up as Cruella de Vil for character day. She pulled out all the stops including a replica-wig and red lipstick.
Thursday- Epcot Around the World Day; For Around the World Day, Hardy dressed up as the United States. This was a common theme in the hallways on Thursday but unlike other students, Hardy took it to the next level by recreating Mount Rushmore and wearing the presidents around the school.
Friday- Green-Out; For the last spirit day, Hardy went with the classic Green-out look, wearing all green everything while also showing her Class of 2016 pride.
